Rani Mahal is a Rana palace located in the banks ofKali Gandaki River inPalpa district of Nepal 
Ranighat Palace
. This palace was constructed by General Khadga Shumsher JBR  in 1893.
HISTRY:
In 1887 General  Khadga Shumsher JBR was forced to drop his royal titles and was sent to Palpa-Gauda as theWEstern Commander in Chiegf  of Nepal. In 1892 Khadga Shumsher's beloved youngest wife Tej Kumari Devi died and khagda built the tample for his meamory and built a palace and named after his wife as Rani Mahal its mean Queens palace . He also named the forest nearby Rani mahal is called Rani ban  (Rani forest) along with naming the Ghats as Rani Ghat.
